#190938 - Why so little 8051 based chips info on Microchip web site? |
Does anyone know why there is very little info on the Microchip web site about formerly Atmel 8051 core microcontrollers? Are they actively discouragtng people from using them? Most sources seem to have plenty to sell you if needed. I don't recall any announcements of discontinuation of sales or support.
