#190912 - Old SiLabs IDE versus Simplicity Studio
I am trying to use the old SiLabs IDE that has been present on my computer for years and used to work extremely well for a new project. This is the first time I've tried to use it since Windows 10 was installed over the previous Windows 7. The IDE works great to edit and compile the software but when it comes to try to connect to the USB Debug Adapter it keeps giving an error "Unable to connect".

I know that the adapter is connected and working properly because when I installed the new Ver 4 Simplicity Studio it can see the adapter.

So I have two questions:

1. What does it take to get the USB debug adapter to work with the old IDE?

2. Is there some sort of import capability to gather an old IDE project and bring that into Simplicity Studio Ver 4?
