Hi all.
Slightly off-topic, but I'm sure some of the veterans here can help me. What purpose does the guard tone (1800Hz or 550Hz) sent by a v.22bis modem serve? Does it have anything to do with disabling echo cancellers? Any comments appreciated. Best regards, Brian E. Cauchi |
