Hi everybody

I already use this website because I wanted informations about how to programming a 8051 µPSD, but now I have more questions about an emulator.

I'm searching how to use my INTEL pr 5100 emulator. here is the problem :

I have a device with an electronic card with a 80C32 and his EPROM. ( My device is an old electronic card with display, keyboard, stepping motor.....and the device works perfectly) I have the code of the EPROM in hex files and source files. Now I want modify my code and test it on my device. I can change the code and re-program it on a new EPROM, and it works perfectly ! Now I want to use my emulator in order to not program an EPROM after every change on my code ( It will be expensive !! ^^). And the questions are here:

1) Do you think that I can emulate a 80c32 AND his EPROM with this emulator ? ( I'm sure yes but it's driving me crazy ! )

2) I connected the emulator instead of my 80C32 ( by a PLCC adaptator ) and disconnected the EPROM ( the EPROM where is my code .....Have I to connect it empty ? or am I right to disconnect it ? )

3) I don't find technical notes or reference guide on that emulator, I have software, pocket reference guide but I think it is "short" t ouse the emulator only with this documentation and I'm asking if someone knw if there is other documentation

4) I know that this emulator is old but I have not the choice and I have to use it !

5) I hope there is someone here who is unsing it or used it !

6) I hope my message is clear

7) If someone want some help for 8051's family like µPSD or other maybe I can help, or help for anything I'm here.
